Private Swimming Lessons

Private swimming lessons are offered during the scheduled times listed below only. No extensions will be provided for participants who arrive late. Lessons may start up to 10 minutes later than the scheduled time, but will be extended up to 10 minutes to ensure a full 30-minute lesson.
We strive to offer the most enjoyable and successful lesson experience possible for each of our lesson participants. Each participant responds differently to swim lessons and will progress at their own pace. Patience and kindness are always appreciated.
The City does not guarantee the same instructor for each lesson although staff will make every attempt to assign a consistent instructor.
REFUNDS are not offered for aquatics classes. Additionally, credits for aquatics programs are not typically offered however, under special circumstances, any for a credit for a private lesson would require a minimum of 72 hours advance notice to the start of the class. Credits are not authorized for slower than expected progression, because of cold, rainy, inclement weather, or due to scheduling conflicts. Please contact (818) 937-7433 if a credit should be requested.
Any cancellations more than 72 hours in advance will incur a $15 cancellation fee per class. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will not qualify for a credit of any amount.
